Bio

I read because I must. It's like breathing to me. And I love talking about books. But I'm also an Arsenal fan, a wine drinker, a music lover and weirdly obsessed with pop culture. I mostly blog about books, but sometimes about things I'm thinking or doing. When I'm not on the blog, I'm scoping deals for a professional services company, hanging out with friends, or seeing some live theater.

The Things I Hate About First Dates

“Sydney Ellen Wade: [as they head to the state dinner] Do you do this often? President Andrew Shepherd: Well, we had a state dinner for the prime minister of Japan, who died shortly thereafter, so we stopped having them just in case. Sydney Ellen Wade: No. I mean, do you date often? President Andrew […]

Connections

It all started with cocktails. Of course it did. Cocktails with a friend I had known in fourth grade (who grew up next door to my college roommate), a high school friend, and a friend I met in college through my best friend in elementary school.  The high school friend had also gone to elementary […]
