Bio

I read because I must. It's like breathing to me. And I love talking about books. But I'm also an Arsenal fan, a wine drinker, a music lover and weirdly obsessed with pop culture. I mostly blog about books, but sometimes about things I'm thinking or doing. When I'm not on the blog, I'm scoping deals for a professional services company, hanging out with friends, or seeing some live theater.

Taking Care of Me- Whole 30

The last couple of years have taken a toll on my health.  I’m heavier than I want to be.  My bloodwork earlier this year showed cholesterol on the cusp of bad levels. My blood pressure is periodically high. My blood sugar is edging towards bad numbers. My allergies drive me crazy.  I feel like I’m […]

The Sunday Win(e)d Down, 24 November 2013

I finally got caught up on a couple of reviews. I posted my thoughts on I Am Malala yesterday.  My review of Angela Correll’s Grounded will post late Tuesday morning.  I just finished Nora Roberts’ The Dark Witch and have just started A People’s History of the United States 1492 to the Present so lots of reading going on. I have friends doing […]
